The guys came in tired (more than expected) form a hard week on the mats. We made the session more productive by throwing out the “hard” workout which was scheduled. Instead, they stretched and practiced form with barbell complexes in the warm up. Then, barbell triplet intervals with weight that allowed for speed which got the engines going again. We finished with an “One the minute” game called “Death by Farmers Carries” which got everyone to dig deep while having “fun”.
Here the planned workout for each day is always up for modification. The goal is to get the best from each individual. This is one of the reasons why we don’t follow someone else’s program; we program for our own needs.
